ENTRIES ARE CLOSED… NOW THE REAL WORK BEGINS 👀 We ENTRIES ARE CLOSED… NOW THE REAL WORK BEGINS 👀

We know everyone is eagerly waiting to see the final entrant list for the 2026 Bridgestone Improved Production Nationals — trust us, so are we.

We have had a huge number of messages and emails asking when the list is coming, and right now we are actively working with competitors to finalise everything behind the scenes.

Please remember that everyone’s financial situation is different and can change very quickly… and if there is one thing we all know, race cars can change even quicker.

Our priority is to help as many competitors as possible make it to the grid, so bear with us while we work through the final stages.
Are the Under and Over 2L fields likely to ultimately run as a combined grid? Highly likely. But with 2 seperate qualifiying session’s, six heats and a 50km final that’s a hell of a lot of track time!

What we WILL have is a showcase of some of the best Improved Production cars and drivers in the country — people who are committed to this category and committed to putting on a show.

And this event has been built around them.

Around the competitors, their commitment, their teams and the sponsors who have backed this event and our category all year.

For nine years, WA competitors have packed up their race cars, crossed the country and represented Western Australia at Improved Production Nationals around Australia.

Now it’s our turn.

Our turn to welcome everyone west, showcase our home track, our competitors and our category — and show the rest of the country exactly how WA hosts a Nationals.

So be patient…

The best is saved until last. 👀

And if you’re sitting there thinking you should have entered?

Heck… pack the car, make the call and see if you can sneak in a late entry. 😏

And even if you’re not racing, come down, get amongst it and enjoy everything Improved Production has to offer.

Alongside Improved Production, Maddie also competes in Tarmac West Rally and speed sprint events, and has just returned to WA after competing for the first time at World Time Attack.

She’s also a driver coach and is actively involved in Women in Motorsport, helping support and encourage more women into the sport both on and off the track.

ROAD TO NATIONALS — GRANT GELLAN Grant Gellan and ROAD TO NATIONALS — GRANT GELLAN

Grant Gellan and the immaculate #46 Mk1 Ford Escort 1.6 Turbo are heading to the 2026 Bridgestone Improved Production Nationals.

A long-time motorsport competitor and long-standing Improved Production member, Grant has built an impressive history with this Escort, including a P2 National Title finish in Under 2L.

The car is beautifully presented, meticulously put together and seriously quick. Grant currently holds both the 1600–2000cc and 2000–3000cc lap records at Wanneroo Raceway, making the #46 one of the proven fast cars heading into Nationals.

With that kind of pace around his home track, expect Grant to be right in the front pack when the racing gets underway — and once that Escort is wound up, he’ll be hard to rein in.

Proudly supported by Autosport Electronics, 43 Design Co & Gellan Motorsport.

We are incredibly proud to be welcoming competitors from the Northern Territory, Victoria, New South Wales, Tasmania, Queensland and, of course, a HUGE contingent of Western Australian competitors to Motormall Wanneroo Raceway this October.

A massive thank you to Improved Production Racing Australia our national body, and every state association that has supported, shared and backed our Nationals campaign over the past seven months.

We have been talking about this event, planning it, promoting it and building towards it since January and now the entry campaign is officially complete.

Now it’s time for us to get to work and bring all of those plans to life.

This will be the first Bridgestone Improved Production Nationals, the first Improved Production Nationals held in WA in nine years, and we are determined to make it one for the history books.

To every competitor who has entered — THANK YOU.

We cannot wait to welcome you to WA.

The road to Nationals continues… now the real work begins.
ENTRIES CLOSE TODAY! 🏁 Here it is — the FINAL DAY ENTRIES CLOSE TODAY! 🏁

Here it is — the FINAL DAY to enter the 2026 Bridgestone Improved Production Nationals.

This year is a big one. It’s the first Nationals supported by Bridgestone and the first time in nine years the Improved Production Nationals have returned to WA.

Since March, we’ve been campaigning, planning and building toward this event — and somehow, we’ve finally reached the last day of entries.

Today is also the deadline for FULL PAYMENT. If you still have an outstanding balance and haven’t contacted the committee to make arrangements, you may risk forfeiting your entry.

Events like this become part of our category’s history. The first-ever Bridgestone Improved Production Nationals is one of them.

If you’ve been sitting on the fence, this is it.

Don’t miss your chance to be part of it. 🏆#iprawa #roadtonationals #improvedproductionracing #motorsportaustralia
ROAD TO NATIONALS | GEOFF “DUCKY” DUCKWORTH 🏁 One ROAD TO NATIONALS | GEOFF “DUCKY” DUCKWORTH 🏁

One of IPRAWA’s longest-standing members, Geoff Duckworth is one of the most highly regarded people in our Improved Production community and across WA motorsport.

If he’s not behind the wheel on race day, you can almost guarantee he’ll be trackside helping another competitor, assisting around the paddock or jumping into the safety car.

Ducky has completed more Observed Driving Tests for our drivers than we could probably count and continues to play a huge role in welcoming and supporting competitors coming through the category. He is also a highly valued member of the IPRAWA committee and someone who has given an enormous amount back to the sport over the years.

For the 2026 Bridgestone Improved Production Nationals, Ducky will be stepping into Craig Poole’s newly acquired #5 VN Commodore a car that has already proven itself as a front runner around Australia.

Put an experienced racer like Ducky behind the wheel of a proven package and things could get very interesting.

Look out front runners Ducky will be one to watch at this year’s Nationals. 👀🏁 #roadtonationals #iprawa #bridgestone #improvedproductionracing
